Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Cabin On The Creek

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

The Coorie Nook

Escape to Coorie Nook, a recently renovated 4 room log cabin with Scottish flair nestled in the heart of Rockingham County, NC, located 20 minutes from Greensboro. A perfect cozy retreat for couples who enjoy coffee or drinks on screened front porch while listening to rain on tin roof or enjoy the peaceful sunshine and grilled burgers on spacious deck. Sleep snug in genuine linen bedding, play board games or read by the wood burning stove, log into a favorite show on the TV, or just relax.

The Magnolia

The Magnolia is a multi-story treehouse, nestled on a charming wooded lot, minutes to downtown Hillsborough, NC. Built in the treetops, this bright and airy space is full of handmade touches and warm wood tones. Enjoy your tea or coffee on the second story deck for two, relax in the cozy loft bedroom with views of the forest, prepare meals in the kitchen for a night in, and wrap up your day beside the outdoor fire pit and water garden. We can't wait to have you at The Magnolia!

Mountain cabin feel on Hyco Lake.

Unwind at this hidden jewel tucked in the woods on Hyco Lake. Forget tiny houses, this “Skinny House” boasts two bedrooms, two baths, a spacious open floor plan, cedar ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, solo stove, laundry room. Indoor and outdoor living that is large enough for six adults. Floating dock invites you to spend your days on the lake - swimming, fishing, boating, or just soaking in the views. Canoe, Kayaks, Paddle-boards & life vests provided!

Stony Knoll Vineyards Wine Lodge

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

Whip-O-Will Cabin: Secluded Log Cabin Treehouse

Enjoy a secluded stay in our one of a kind, luxurious log cabin treehouse. The treehouse offers 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom on the main floor with a rock shower and the loft bedroom with a half bath. The treehouse has a full wrap around porch with jacuzzi tub overlooking a spring branch and fire pit. Enjoy the outdoor shower with a 16” rainfall shower head under the treehouse next to the spring branch. Our gravel road welcomes you to a cozy home in the trees.

18th Century Cabin Retreat

Come enjoy our 18th century cabin! They don't make them like this anymore. One side built in 1750, the other in 1825. Sit under the giant white oak and enjoy the country air. This is a wonderful retreat to kick back and relax. Enjoy the pool, horseshoes, and fire pit. In the winter months, cozy up by the wood stove or fire place with gas logs. NO PETS!!! Please do not bring your pets. Owners live on site, so if you are in need of anything, please ask!

If you love rich history, and privacy then you will love this peaceful oasis. As soon as you pull into the main property entrance, you will naturally leave the world behind. You will take a right by the Hope sign and come upon this adorable one bedroom cottage. You will enjoy this newly remodeled home. It features a wrap around porch, deck with grill and it’s own personal lavender garden by the fire pit. It is peaceful and cozy.

Second Home in Pittsboro, NC

This newly remodeled home is on 4 wooded acres in Pittsboro. It is one mile from Chatham Park, and close to the downtown shops and restaurants. It is convenient to drive to Jordan Lake, Fearrington Village, Chaple Hill, Apex, and Cary. Chatham County is one of the fastest growing in the state, but Pittsboro retains it's historic and eclectic roots. We are pet-friendly, with a fenced in backyard.
