Mavis's Mountain Cottage is fully self contained, light, airy and located on parkland acres on the eastern escarpment. The Gold Coast views are breathtaking! The cottage contains fully equipped kitchen, high ceilings, Wi-Fi, aircon and ceiling fans. There are two outdoor decks and picnic basket provided for your use. Easy walking distance to local wineries and the popular glowworm caves. A short drive to local cafes and shops on the famous Gallery Walk and walking trails in the National Parks.

The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Separated by Rainforest trees from the main house this cottage provides guests with privacy and tranquility.

Enjoy the plant filled space while you enjoy a breakfast of fresh bread, eggs from our chickens, cereal, condiments & coffee. At night light the fireplace with the wood provided & soak in the large tub. Take the picnic basket & rug provided, & explore the Mountain. We are located on the Main Road leading into Gallery Walk. If you are sensitive to road noise we might not be the perfect place for you.

Very open, light and airy with a veranda across the East facing front, it is available for both weekends and week days with a minimum stay of two nights. Easy walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants and specialty shops and galleries, it is also close to some of the Mountain's highlights and walks.
