We’re 10 mins drive from Holmfirth and in easy reach of Leeds and Manchester. Explore our ancient woodland and country paths or relax at home to the sound of passing horses and church bells. Hillside cabin in Slaithwaite

Our simple wooden cabin has solar powered lighting and a south facing deck to enjoy the panoramic views. It is well insulated and sheltered by surrounding trees. There are footpaths and bike trails from the door. Zapato microbrewery is ten minutes walk away. The new off grid utility shed was completed in Dec 2025. It is next to the cabin. It includes a basic kitchen area, camping fridge and a small bathroom with a composting (waterless) toilet, sink and shower. Like camping without the tent!

There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.
