Y’all come stay a while… Fred and Fanny’s belonged my sweet grandparents who nary met a stranger. Their 2 bedroom 1 Bath home is located right in the Town of New Castle, where my granny was the Treasurer for many years. It’s fully furnished and features eat in kitchen, washer and dryer, and fenced in yard. Walking distance to town… and It’s not real far from Roanoke or Blacksburg. Close to Wilderness Adventure, and it’s less than 27 mins to the Furthest Trailhead in Va’s Triple crown!

A couple’s secluded retreat in a newly constructed (2020) single level creek view cabin with knotty pine. The parking area is equipped with a 230Vac/120Vac charge station for electric vehicles. The cabin has all comforts of home. 35 foot Trex deck along front of cabin to view song birds and hummingbirds. Ring security disabled. Outdoor fire ring with plenty of wood. We love sharing our farmstead with guests and also understand if guests prefer tranquil time to themselves. We are a 20 min drive to Dragon's Tooth, and 10 minutes to VA42 (Kelly Knob or the Keffer Oak).

You'll be 30 minutes from Salem, VA and 45 minutes from Blacksburg, VA. Lots of hiking and outdoor activities nearby. Our cottage has 1 large bedroom that has a queen bed, 2 twins, kitchen, living room with fireplace, 1 1/2 baths. Linens provided.

Public access to Craig's creek about 5 minutes from this location.
