Acclaimed social realist painter Reginald Marsh's family estate is known to be unique for Woodstock with its ball shaped junipers, a pond that brackets the house, expansive lawns, a gathering of birches and 100 year old cone shaped cedar trees. In short walking distance to the center of Woodstock the secluded setting with a private waterfall bordering a public preserve as well as the attention to architectural detail is unique.

Renovated historic home, walk to Hudson River!

Escape from NYC and enjoy a slower pace in this bright and spacious historic home, just a short walk to the Hudson River where you can sit by the water, enjoy a picnic, or kayak. This home is made for entertaining and is stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal (cast irons, French cookware, baking supplies, spices and oils). There is a little view of the river from the backyard where you can also build a fire. 1 queen bed, 1 full bed and one full air mattress also available.

Let all your worries fade away in this beautifully remodeled modern cottage! Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath can sleep 8 adults in 2 Queen Beds, 2 Twin Beds and a Queen Sleeper Sofa. Relax by the fire pit out back or take out our 2 two person Kayaks and enjoy the lake in the summer, visit Catamount Ski Resort or other nearby ski mountains in the winter. The large, custom dinner table seats 8 comfortably with lots of room to hang, play games, watch movies and more. Guests must be 25 years old to rent.

The Writer's Cottage

The Writer's Cottage is a tiny white house on a country road; vintage, complete, and inspiring. Built in the nineteenth century, it's perfect for a solo traveler or a pair of travelers exploring the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. If you like rustic buildings, you'll be a fan of the cottage; it's an incredibly cozy time warp. Queen bed and living quarters downstairs; airy loft up a narrow set of enclosed stairs. There's an orchard and lawn with grill, hammock and ironwork table.

Creek access, BBQ, fire pit, fenced in backyard, & 2 decks makes our home a great destination for a relaxing getaway with family, friends and pets.

Copake Lake Cottage Near Hiking and Waterfalls

Renovated, art-filled cottage just 500 ft from Copake Lake. This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house is also close to hiking trails, waterfalls, apple picking, & a winery in the fall, and in winter, there’s skiing at Catamount, and a distillery nearby. A house for all seasons! Please note the house is 5 houses back and across a quiet road from the lake, and the dock is in the lake from the beginning of May to mid-September. But there is plenty to do up here during the rest of the year!
