Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

Casa Buena Vista is situated on a cliff and has spectacular views of Irish Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedrooms and living room and an open floor plan on the main floor make you feel like you're on the beach or floating on a cloud over it. There's a hot tub that overlooks the ocean. The house is modern with beautiful furniture, funky art and a kitchen made for people who love to cook. Whether you are nature lovers, riders, or want a quiet personal or romantic retreat, our place is ideal. Walking, hiking, biking trails abound right from the property. Tucked into a magnificent redwood forest the cottage has a gas fireplace, reading chair, futon couch, good lighting, desk, and dining table. The kitchen contains basic staples, including teas and fresh organic eggs from our hens. A large claw-foot tub is in the bathroom and a shower is on the secluded west facing deck.
