Ox’s Acres and Country Nook: peace, rest, relax!

Escape the chaos of the city and immerse yourself in all that country living has to offer. Our cozy little spot is tucked away between Lake Waccamaw and Myrtle Beaches. We have all options available to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable, options including lending a hand in taking care of our adorable animals, especially our Service Dog, Stella, who we’ve affectionately named our apartment after, we have a horse, mule, and a friendly flock of chickens. Fresh eggs daily. No cats, no exception.

NEWLY remodeled, GORGEOUS 2000 sq ft. home sitting on a quiet 0.5-acre lot with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gas fireplace, plus a FOURTH room designated as a home office. The home has an attached garage with space for one oversized vehicle and ramp access into the laundry room. The home is located in a beautiful and peaceful residential area. It is great for walking, or a short drive to downtown Shallotte for local eateries and scenic views of the Shallotte River via the riverwalk and Mulberry Park.

Bird watching, star gazing, sunrises and sunsets. Relax in rocking chairs or porch swing. The grape arbor is perfect for alfresco dining. Under the stately pecan trees are saucer swings. A sleeping porch is where working remotely has never been better. Enjoy a stroll around the property to check out the sheep & working dogs.

River House Waccamaw Waterfront- NC/SC Beaches

Enjoy a quaint river house along the natural and scenic Waccamaw River. Perfect for fishing, boating, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the river! There is a boat landing nearby and a place to dock your boat at the home's dock. There is a grocery store located approximately 8 miles from the house and there are many beaches within a 15-20 minute drive from the house. Nearest ocean beaches include: Cherry Grove & North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Sunset & Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.

Willow's Harbor

This beautiful rental property is just 15 minutes from the beach offering the perfect getaway for large groups. With a private pool for relaxation and fun, the spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests. The large kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals for everyone, whether you're cooking together or hosting a special gathering. The home is also animal-friendly, so your furry friends are welcome. Jewel’s Woods-Entire Mini Campground

Jewel’s Woods is a private "campground" in the woods that includes 3 separate lodging units: • A 420 sq.ft. barndo w porch • A large 5th wheel camper • A rustic cabin Between them there are 5 beds/3 bathrooms and there's a space for a visiting camper w/ 50 amp service and water available. This paradise is 1,000 feet from a country road w/ a stocked 1-acre pond, picnic tables, lawn games, fishing poles, gazebo, Adirondack chairs, & 2 miles of trails over 46 acres. Perfect for small groups

Hook, Line & Sinker - Calabash

Tee up and relax at our cozy condo, Hook, Line & Sinker, the perfect spot to unwind on one of the championship golf courses, or on a long walk on the beach. We have two bedrooms, one with a king bed and private bath, and the other with two queen beds, a large whirlpool tub, a shower, and efficiency kitchen with mini fridge, hot plate, microwave and coffee maker. A washer and dryer are in the unit. One set of linens and towels are provided. Toiletries provided. Exterior camera for security.

Sweet Retreat

A great place for relaxation, enjoy some alone time or family time. Some new updates have recently been done to the Living room, Dining/Sun Porch area the lake view from inside the house is even better than before! There are two different shelters on the pier where you can relax and enjoy the sunsets. You are driving distance from the state park where you can enjoy hiking. There are several spots around the lake for good fishing. Grocery store, variety store and gas station are near by.

WELCOME TO BEAUTIFUL LAKE WACCAMAW

A place where your adventures can be endless or you can just relax and breathe in the serenity of paradise. Bring the kids the dogs and leave your cell phone behind and choose your journey. The host has provided two kayaks with life jackets, that can launch from the private pier. You can swim, sun or fish the day away. Feel free to bring your own boat, the community launch is at the end of the road. As your day winds down and the family gathers for dinner, enjoy the beautiful sunsets!!

This 4BR, 3B home comfortably sleeps 10 and has everything you need (linens included & a fully stocked kitchen). Relax on the pier that has a covered space and a sun deck. Let the Webber Gas or Charcoal Grill help with the cooking. Your vacation on the lake awaits you!

The Bridge of Coral Oak

This house is anything but tiny! Located in a wooded area 6 miles from Sunset and Ocean Isle Beach, Coral Oak is perfect for those who love to visit the beach but don’t want to stay in the crazy traffic. This house is located right in the middle of Wilmington and Myrtle Beach. You can enjoy all the seafood Calabash has to offer and even WALK to the Silver Coast Winery. This house has some special details so make sure to take the time to check it all out!
