Knocks Getaway

Walk To Lake~Downtown~Couples Retreat. Don't waste your time in cabins outside of town limits; this will only keep you from doing your desired activities. Stay with us and experience Grand Lake without all the travel and logistics to find rides into town. Reminder: there are NO ride-shares or public transportation. Make it easy on yourself and your friends; stay with us. I will also allow early check-in as early as 8 am and late checkout if time and cleaning schedules allow it!

Our Yurt is a perfect winter sojourn. Between the Rockies and the desert, only 2 miles from Paonia, is a luxury yurt placed on a large wrap-around redwood deck. Hovering above the North Fork of the Gunnison River, your private sanctuary is far removed from neighbors and intrusions. Beautiful log cabin 100 feet from the river. Tranquil place to unwind, relax, rest or engage in many activities this area has to offer year round. Dip or swim in refreshing Dolores River waters, mountain bike, hike, catch a fish, listen to nature's sounds on the patio, have a glimpse of Bald Eagles, deer or occasional bear. Cross country ski, downhill ski or melt away in nearby hot springs. Everything is within an hour of reach. Let the stress melt away.
