Relax in a country comfortable atmosphere and savor the magnificent view of the ocean from your spacious living room. Your deck has a magnificent view of the ocean that has the highest tides in the world and comes complete with Adirondack chairs and a dining area allowing you to sit back and enjoy the fresh salt air and the magnificent view. This cottages is also wheelchair accessible. Their are two other cottages on the property. Our Nautical theme cottage and our Contemporary themed cottage.

Treehouse by the Lake

A paradise in the woods, a place to connect with nature. Sit in tranquility with the living creatures near the lake. No wifi, we have NATURE. Along the path there is a seperate building which houses the toilet and a different building for shower. Treehouse comfortable for two. Fire pit located close to the lake and a trail that goes to the kayak and the raft. Relax on our Bali inspired swing. Sunbath on the wharf SHARED-Two person kayak and raft. Shower disabled in the cold winter mths.

Acadian Home

Enjoy your stay near the Acadian shores in our spacious, breezy, fully renovated historic Acadian home. Originally built in 1837, this home has been brought up to today's expectations for comfort, functionality and environmental sustainability. It sleeps 5. There is also an inflatable air mattress - double and pump and space to accommodate two extra guests. We hope you enjoy the spacious comfort of this home while you explore what Clare and Digby County have to offer. Note that you pay no HST.

Lobster Bay View (Ocean Front Property)

Cozy and delightful! A bright sun filled space to soak in the ocean view. Located on St Mary's Bay, the waters are part of Nova Scotia's largest lobster fishing area. Located on the Acadian French shore the neighbors are mostly bilingual (english/french) speakers with a unique and interesting history and a friendly disposition. Good location for day trips to Yarmouth, Annapolis Royal, Digby, and Digby neck, whale watching . Very close to Gran Fondo starting point and Clare golf course

Riverside Retreat of Mavillette

Take it easy at this tranquil riverside getaway. A self contained, open concept unit. Relax on the back deck and watch the birds and look for deer, or bring your kayaks and launch them right from the back yard. 1km to Nova Scotia famous Mavillette beach. Mavillette river in the back yard is great for swimming and leads right through the wetlands to the Ocean. Equipped with a mini fridge, hot plate, microwave/convection oven, toaster and bbq and all kitchen essentials. Long term discounts.

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped, recently updated, 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a quiet lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!

Chez Gail Au Lac

Come relax at our two-bedroom lakefront cottage on Boarsback Lake. A tranquil getaway with just the right mix of lake, relaxation, sunsets, and campfires . An amazing place for a romantic couple’s getaway, family time or a solo adventurer/traveler. Large master bedroom with a king size bed, and a double bed in our cozy second bedroom. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, Keurig and BBQ. Guests have access to two kayaks, a paddle board and pool noodles.

Kick back and relax in this spacious lakeside heat pump, infloor heated cottage, new August 2023. The separate bedroom with queen bed, has a beautiful barn slide door. The main living area has a queen sofa couch. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets or a campfire by the lake . For your added pleasure is a six man, hot tub, nestled in the woods under a beautiful gazebo - shared with one (2 person) cottage. Free use of kayaks, paddle boards, mountain bikes, swim in the lake, or enjoy leisure walks.

The Narrows

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled on private lakefront property. Shoreline connecting two large lakes and river flowing to the ocean. Great place for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Located 5 minutes from Mavilette Beach Provincial Park and nearby a convenience store. This newly built cabin is equipped with full bathroom, kitchen and two queen sized beds. It also has outdoor chairs, fire pit, bbq, picnic table and 2 kayaks.

Modern Belliveau Lake Cottage

Come enjoy the views of beautiful Belliveau Lake in the Acadian community of Clare. This newly built one-level lakeside cottage is perfectly situated for you to enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Cottage includes 1 Queen bed, 1 Double bed, and a pull-out sofa bed. Prior to your arrival we will send you detailed directions as you will travel roughly 8km on maintained dirt roads. We live on the same lake so we won't be far if you need anything.
