Fiery Gizzard Homeplace & Cottage

A private cottage located close to area restaurants and outdoor activities. Approximately 5 minutes to FIERY GIZZARD trailhead as well as dining in Monteagle and Tracy City. Our cottage has a private courtyard where you can grill, chill, and make a fire! A large custom walk-in shower with great water pressure and endless hot water. A large smart tv with excellent internet. Very comfortable bedding and a nice leather recliner. Snacks and drinks in the refrigerator are complementary.

The Cottage at Acqua Dolce

The cottage at Acqua Dolce is an adorable studio located just behind our 1827 home in the historic district of Sweetwater. Our 3 acre property is wooded with many magnificent trees and a small creek making it a park-like setting while being in town. Great for visitors of all types with easy access to shopping, hiking, white water rafting, fishing and much more. We are near many destinations including, The Smokey Mountains, Tail of the Dragon, The Lost Sea and numerous wineries .

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Country setting, 40 minutes to Chattanooga Tennessee, 10 minutes to Trenton Georgia, 20 minutes to Lafayette Georgia. Three miles to Cloudland Canyon State Park. Thirty seven minutes to Tennessee aquarium. Convenient to Canyon Grill, Cafe 136, Lookout Mountain Pizza 2 miles ( open Thursday through Saturday). Hiking, hand gliding, caving plus other available activities.

Hannsz Hideaway

Same place with a new exterior look. This has now become an active family farm that requires land and livestock maintenance on a daily, you may hear a bit of noise during daylight hours, unless it’s a holiday weekend when my kids visit, those weekends can get a lot louder. I have been trying to keep my kids quiet for nearly 38 years…..if you’re a parent, you understand.

Prayer Cabin

This quiet little quest house is only 6 miles from Dayton. Five boat ramps are located within a 6 mile radius. We will do our very best to make your stay as enjoyable as we can and will provide contact information for cleaning or linen service at check in. There is plenty of room for a boat under the adjacent carport. Outdoor electrical is also available.

Ten minutes to Watts Bar boat ramp. We are not within walking distance of restaurants, etc. but only a few minutes away by driving.
