The Dell - Country Holiday Let

The Dell sleeps up four guests and is located in the small village of White Colne, only 15 minutes away from the oldest recorded town in the UK, Colchester. On the Essex-Suffolk border you have a great base to explore East Anglia’s towns and attractions. This is a private annex building set in the grounds of our family home. A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!

Gorgeous cottage set in Bures

Relax in our wonderful cottage and enjoy a glass in the garden that has been designed and created by Harry and David Rich (known as The Rich Brothers from Garden Rescue on the BBC). The cottage has parking for two cars and is located in the centre of Bures Village, a short stroll away from the train station, two public houses, local shop, church and park. Not far away you will find the famous Bures Dragon and Chapel of Stephen.
