Stargazers will love this beautiful off grid cabin located in a private field at Barking Goat Farms. The cabin has a fantastic outdoor covered deck with bbq, sit up bar and outdoor firepit with fantastic views of the night sky. Located between Toronto & Ottawa we are the perfect location for nature lovers and yet close to local restaurants, wineries & breweries. Unplug, relax & recharge. This unique stay pairs a cozy two-bedroom cabin with a dreamy treehouse, set on a quiet peninsula surrounded by water on three sides. Sip your morning coffee under the pergola as birds sing, paddle upriver by kayak, or unwind on the dock. End the day by the campfire or relax under the stars in the hot tub. The perfect blend of comfort, nature and tranquility awaits.

Mapleridge Cabin

On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from cabin.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cabin. Located on the quiet part of Sand Lake (Rideau system) Property has two bedrooms in the main cabin and a Bunkie for summer use for an additional cost. Beautiful views, with great fishing, swimming and hiking. Jump in a kayak and explore the lake. No wifi. Talk to each other! Play games! Reconnect! Leashed pets only! Outhouse for use on property all year. No running water in the winter months. Plan accordingly.

The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches.
