Our private house is located in a peaceful condominium only 10 minutes walking to nearby beaches and center of Carvoeiro. It was built by architects with the idea of resembling it to old constructions around the Mediterranean/North of Africa. My family fully renovated the apartment in July 2023 respecting it's architecture and using local materials. Some furniture was handmade by my father using recycled materials from the house, such as the high quality wood for the dinner table or the closet.

Welcome to Quinta Carapeto ! You will sleep in a very unique transformed oval pig shed with a reciprocal roof and glass top window for star gazing and amazing views into the garden. It's equipped with a little kitchenette, with a two flame gas cooker and small fridge. It has a double bed 1,40x2,00m. Optional we have a camping bed if you wanna come with one child. Also There is a big outdoor bathhouse with warm water. Our place is at a 1,5km off-road track suitable for normal cars.

Located near the historical town Silves, in a area with beautiful nature surrounding it. It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. This unique getaway situated in a rural setting with beautiful surroundings perfect for bike rides and hiking yet only a 5-10 minutes drive to Lagos and Luz with all the famous beaches and local restaurants. The studio houses has been inspired by the hosts many travels to Indonesia and also the minimalism from the hostess Scandinavian background. ‘We wanted to create a calming space for people something that makes it easy to switch off, relax and enjoy the nature.’
