Cozy creative loft ("treehouse") in serene peaceful forest setting near Rock Creek, 1 mile from Skamania Lodge or waterfall. Separate bedroom with sink; full bathroom, full kitchen, den w/couch-pull out queen bed, lounge beside window, gas wall fireplace, outdoor tub/shower, deck overlooking forest. Chickens on site. Environmentally friendly, using many materials in the construction that are considered LEED certification worthy. Lots of windows. Backyard deck, metal chiminea, gas BBQ. No TV.

Our incredible homestead nestled in the woods is the perfect place to make memories. Make it a getaway in the Gorge. Step outside for a walk in the woods or along the river where peace and beauty will surround you. Trails and rivers are all in the backyard! Take an authentic Finnish wood fired sauna with hot water and cold plunge (add as an extra) or gaze at the grand stone fireplace after watching the salmon spawning on the river. Possibilities for local recreation in the gorge also abound.

The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The cabin sits on a picturesque half acre lot, minutes away from great restaurants, markets, golf course, biking and amazing hiking trails. Blackbird Cottage is located on 9 wooded acres. You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen & dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer plus a deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin providing sleeping for 7. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & a picnic area or take a short hike to an overlook of the Columbia River Owner lives downstairs. No animals (allergies).

The Overlook House with amazing view!

We chose to share our guesthouse primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guesthouse for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guesthouse with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.
