The Yates Cottage

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and is designed for spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows on 3 sides. Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

A mile dirt road takes you off the beaten path & a private setting on the end of a dirt lane with only a few other fishing cottages. You will love the peace & quiet & refreshing breezes. Enjoy sunrises/sunsets from the pier! Access to kayaks, canoe & 2 paddleboards. Enjoy the ospreys dive bomb for fish, an occasional dolphin, & other birdlife.

Pet friendly and centrally located within the town of Beaufort, this rental space is one of a kind! Bike or walk to shops, restaurants and attractions downtown. We provide the bikes! Beaufort has many special tours, historic sites , events, and fun things to do! After a busy day , relax on the top deck where the view is spectacular with sightings of wild ponies and egrets. There is a deck with wonderful views of boating and sunsets. You have access to our dock for sun bathing, fishing and swimming.
