Step back in time when you stay at this unique and historic place.Roundhouse Farm Cottages Mary, William and Henrietta (dog friendly) part of a Grade 2* complex including 2 towers built over 200 years ago as part of the Nantyglo ironworks owned by Crawshay and Joseph Bailey. The cottages are comfortable, peaceful and within a walled enclosure. Listed as 5* they are situated in a superb location on the A465 close to rail links, with the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and major bike parks nearby.

Upstairs, double bedroom, TV, Hairdryer, wardrobe, hangers, bedside cabinets lamps, Iron & ironing Board. Bathroom bath & overhead shower, I supply Towels, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner & toilet rolls,

Hafren , Rural self-catering cottage on sheep farm

Hafren is our newest cottage that has been welcoming guests since 2000. It is 4 stars graded and it accommodates up to 4 people and will also accept a Dog by prior arrangement at a fee. This cottage has the option for a double bedroom on the ground floor as well as a twin on the first floor. It has a full bathroom on the ground floor and an additional toilet on the first floor. Fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and washing machine. Also has its own free parking next to cottage.

Or jump on your bike and take to The Taff Trail which runs for 55 miles between Cardiff and Brecon. When you run out of steam head back home and fire up the wood burner as you settle down in the lounge area. Two and four-legged guests can sneak out into the enclosed garden for a breath of fresh air or take a moment on the balcony for some peace and quiet.
