Nestled in the WNC mountains, The Granary is the perfect home base to explore Asheville, hike the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Cataloochee, Cherokee, etc. all less than 30 minutes in any direction. Enjoy morning coffee or evening beverages on your private deck or the NEW creekside patio complete with fire table and string lights for cool weather. Bird watching is abundant! The Granary sits between the 100+ year old barn and our family cabin residence.

Unique Barn on an organic farm

When I built our barn a while back Airbnb didn't even exist and we were excited to be starting a goat dairy . Now the kitchen sits where we used to milk our sweet goats by hand! We are happy to offer our guests a unique living space located in the heart of the mountains, 30 minutes from Asheville. You are welcome to roam our 28 acres on our trail system, swim in the pond, and decompress from your daily routine. Cell service is limited but we have Fiber Optic Wifi for calling & streaming.

There’s a keyless door code for convenience and privacy. The house is easy to get to, has ample parking in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

Our spacious tiny is directly across the river from Sierra Nevada Brewing and within 15 minutes of the NC Arboretum, the Asheville Outlets, hiking, biking, and fine dining. The Riverview Tiny boasts big views from the living room and downstairs bedroom. The loft is great for kids. Relax on the front porch with uninterrupted farm views. 15 minutes to the Asheville Airport and 30 minutes to the Biltmore Estate.

Enjoy some Corn Hole, play or swim in the refreshing creek, embrace nature’s sounds with a nap in the hammock, take a quiet walk, or just sit and swing the day away watching nature!

You have access to our quaint farm, so spend your morning hiking, fishing, and meeting the animals! With just a quick drive, you can adventure to surrounding towns to experience the culture of WNC before returning to your private, peaceful sanctuary. This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint town of Waynesville and 3 miles from Springdale at Cold Mountain Golf course. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.
