Perfect for romantic getaways & escapes to the countryside. Chester Zoo, Wrexham AFC and both Bangor-on-Dee & Chester Racecourses are all within easy reach. Our pod has underfloor heating, so perfect for getaways throughout the year. Please note bunk beds only suitable for children.

Cosy 2 bed detached cottage. Off-road parking for several cars. Small village just in North Wales; 3 mi from the A55, easy access to M53, M56 , M6. Penyffordd has 2 pubs, a bistro cafe, specialist butchers and convenience stores, in short walking distance. Steps away from lovely countryside walks. Further afield Chester, Mold, Moel Famau and Cwlydian range are a short drive. Snowdonia, Bala and Anglesey approx 1 hour away. Penyffordd has a train station with links to Liverpool and Manchester.

A cosy, quirky, quaint, clean and comfortable self-contained studio barn conversion accessed via outside stone steps in courtyard of old stone farm buildings. Located five minutes from A55 and adjacent to Halkyn Mountain, an ideal touring base for exploring our local area and beyond, great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, the beaches and castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia or Chester/Liverpool. It is very small, but fully equipped with modern facilities with character features.

A ten minute walk away from the village of Caergwrle with its own "castle" and rail line Estyn Lodge is set in beautiful countryside and offers far reaching views over Cheshire and North Wales. The self contained accommodation is spread over two floors with the upstairs being accessed by a slim spiral staircase. There is a small private decked area to the rear with off road parking to the front. Road links to North Wales and Chester makes this an ideal location for a long or short break.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe
This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Surrounded by amazing views, including Hope Mountain one side and the remains of the old viaduct nestled in amongst trees the other side. Set within the grounds of the Hall, the accommodation provides a peaceful retreat. Just 13 miles from Chester, 17 miles from Chester Zoo and about an hours drive from Snowdonia. Lots of great walks in the area, also 'One Planet Adventure' is nearby offering mountain biking, walking and trail running.

Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.

The Dairy Snug is a light and self-contained space which is part of the old Diary. It is available for short breaks. A hidden gem situated on the edge of the city with easy access to rural walks and views towards the Welsh hills. Just 2 miles away from the historic centre of Chester, the property backs onto the old railway track which provides an easy cycle and walking route into the city.

Located in a pretty village, with a variety of pubs and close to city and countryside. Converted loft above a detached garage, with parking and separate, private access and exclusive garden area. Studio space, with en-suite bathroom. Opposite a golf club - you can play as a guest for just £20 Saturday/Sunday pm. It’s a beautiful, undulating course.
