A stunning former gardeners cottage with Private Pool is tucked away in the breath taking landscape of Exmoor National Park. [POOL WILL BE CLOSED FROM 17TH SEPTEMBER TO 14TH MAY] Hot tub all year. The cottage is situated in the village of Rockford, 4 miles walk from Lynmouth or a short drive. It boasts modern appliances and design. Set mainly on one level, a low ceiling mezzanine accommodates a small double bed & extra single bed. The one acre garden is a real treat with plenty of vista points.

It has a well equipped kitchen, a slate surrounded shower and bath in the bathroom, a large living/dining room, two double bedrooms and an enclosed courtyard area. It is perfect for families and is dog friendly. The centre of Lynton is a 5 minute walk and it is only 10 minutes to the spectacular Valley of the rocks. Lynton itself is on the edge of Exmoor and the South West Coast path so it is ideal for walks

The Schoolroom @ Barbrook

This is the original Barbrook schoolroom built by the Methodists in 1870 - a large airy groundfloor space with tall windows looking out across the valley. It is now a romantic hideaway for two - an elegant but comfortable open-plan apartment featuring log stove, large bed, and window seats, plus underfloor heating, modern well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and smart TV. Lovely Oare hideaway

A lovely cosy hideaway, with direct access to Exmoor, the Doone Valley and beyond! The cottage has many original features, including a wood-burner and rustic beams - and maintains its character (refurbished in 2020). Parsonage Farm Cottage is completely separate from the main house, with its own garden, incredible views and peace and quiet, with Oare Water running along the bottom of the property. Just a short drive to the lovely villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, & Porlock.

The old workshop is less than a 10 minute walk from two good Pubs, The Staghunters Inn & The Rockford Inn. There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet - The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! North Devon Coast - Unspoilt Exmoor

Swallows' Rest, on Exmoor's stunning North Devon Coast, offers spacious accommodation in one of Exmoor's most beautiful locations. It is ideal for families and friends. Heron’s Rest. Waterside cottage on Exmoor.

Heron’s Rest sits directly on the banks of the East Lyn river in the small hamlet of Rockford. The cottage is directly opposite the 17th century Rockford Inn, a characterful Exmoor pub/hotel. In normal circumstances the Inn is open for lunchtime and evening meals, but in low season opening times do vary. One mile up the river is another fine Exmoor Inn, The Staghunters. The cottage has direct access on to The Coleridge Way, and many other footpaths.
