Mungo Lodge, pet friendly and accessible

Mungo Lodge was built in 2018. It was built to comply as a wheelchair accessible accomodation. There is fully accessible bathroom with show chair and railings and disabled toilet. There is wheelchair access in kitchen including accessible stove and oven. There is no lip on sliding doors to deck.The cottage is pet friendly with full fencing. It has two bedrooms and looks out over the beautiful green hills of the Southern Highlands. It is only a short distance from all the surrounding villages.

Luxstowe Cottage

Luxstowe House is a historic cottage surrounded by wild, sprawling gardens on acres of land hidden just 5 mins drive from Bowral. Brimming with beautiful artworks and an abundance of books - it's a home you will never want to leave! The sweet country cottage is set at the bottom of a tree-lined drive and below an old barn once used as a sculpture studio and now as a tree nursery. Only 1.5 hours from Sydney, it will transport you to another world so you can relax & recharge on your next getaway.

Pavilions Garden Cottages - Olaf and Tilia

Inside the private Pavilion gardens you will find two separate cottages - Olaf and Tilia. They are ‘tiny houses’ – small but perfect with every amenity and fully self-contained. Olaf is nestled in the garden, surrounded by trees and flowers. Tilia, at the top of the drive, enjoys a rural view up the hill with sheep, cows and the odd kangaroo jumping by. Both have outside fire pits for marshmallow toasting on brisk Highlands nights. We are 5 mins drive from both Mittagong and Bowral main streets.

‘The Stables @ Kookaburra House', is a unique and beautifully appointed barn style cottage located in a private setting amongst the tranquil country side of Kangaroo Valley. 5 km from Kangaroo Valley village and 1 km from the golf club. The Stables includes a large open fireplace, well appointed open plan country kitchen, spacious dining and lounge areas, outdoor fire pit, spacious grounds and breathtaking views of the valley from the outdoor furnished deck. For larger groups, we have 3 properties which are only a couple of minutes walk from the heart of Old Bowral that can accommodate up to 14 people as detailed below.

This design inspired cottage provides a place for up to 6 people to take in the sunset sitting by the open fire, then wake to collect fresh eggs and watch the horses, cows and kangaroos graze, or wander down to the creek for a picnic. The cottage is fully enclosed in a fenced area 800m2. We have changed the fencing so none is electric.

The cottage is a super comfortable, well heated, excellent beds and original art and antiques. 10 acres of gardens of exotics and natives with art sculptures.
