Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

Nordlys Hytte is a beloved, modern, north woods 70's style cottage that is newly renovated, but keeping that vintage feeling while being located just 17ft from shore. Tucked halfway up the Gunflint Trail on Poplar Lake, the cottage is only 30 minutes from downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota. Poplar Lake is 3 miles long and has 3 entries to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA). This is the perfect place for a peaceful retreat for couples to unplug and relax

Early Frost Farms is a hobby farm specializing in vegetable growing. Our general store sells canned goods and ice cream treats. We are located right on Mesabi Bike Trail, 17 minutes from Giant's Ridge; 35 min. from Ely and the north shore.

All new beds/bedding, cozy sectional, laundry and 2 full baths are sure to make any length of stay enjoyable.

Wolf Cabin at Wilderness Wind

We are asking our guests to bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Thank you for your understanding. Wolf Cabin is Wilderness Wind's smallest and most secluded cabin on the shore of Lake Armstrong. This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort.

This cabin is the epitome of the up north lake cabin. The gorgeous, pristine lake is just down an old timber stair outdoor pathway lower than the cabin outdoor sitting deck.
