The property compromises of a spiral staircase and underfloor heating throughout . There is an open plan living and kitchen area - a perfect place to chill out after exploring. No pets.

The Soup Kitchen.

The Soup Kitchen is an architecturally designed renovated cottage dating back to 1840. This 'upside down' house boasts a spacious lounge, kitchen, dining room & bathroom upstairs & three double bedrooms & bathroom downstairs. The lounge has a veranda overlooking the garden with a small seating area where you can sit for that early morning coffee or late night glass of wine. Outside in the cabin is a hot tub and the enclosed rear garden has a lovely decked area with seating for eating outside.

Burnbrae Byre

Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

The Old Fish House

Everybody loves The Old Fish House! With stunning river views it is a beautiful and peaceful cottage, yet a three minute walk from the nearest shop and the harbour. It is a great and relaxing base to enjoy the culture, coastal scenery or walking around the area. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families and we love well behaved dogs. There is a staircase between kitchen/diner and lounge so the cottage may not be ideal for children under 4 years old.

Corbie Neist is a sunny, top floor apartment overlooking the Harbour Square and the Moat Brae in one direction and the Church gardens in the other direction, both of which catch the summer sun at different times of the day. With lobby space for parking bicycles, it is an ideal base for exploring all that Galloway has to offer, whether on a bike, on foot, or touring. Within minutes of the front door you will find many coffee shops, tea garden, galleries, restaurants, take aways, museums.

Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Alma Cottage is a charming 19th century Galloway Roadmans cottage in the picturesque village of Borgue, 5 miles from Kirkcudbright. With miles of coastline to enjoy; walking, cycling, and wildlife enthusiasts will be in their element in rural Galloway, as Alma Cottage provides a perfect retreat to escape from life’s fast pace. The surrounding area boasts attractions such as the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails, Laggan outdoor, Cream ‘O’ Galloway & many castles to mention a few.
