Sitting immediately below the National Trust's Overbecks House, The Anchorage is well equipped and furnished and decorated to a very good standard and is only a few minutes walk down to South Sands beach where the ferry into Salcombe town can be found along with the stunning South Sands Hotel (open to non residents) and the popular Bo’s Beach Cafe.

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

Blackberry cottage is available on a weekly basis during the school holidays with changeover day being a Friday. Outside school holidays the cottage is available for 3 night minimum stays for your perfect seaside escape.
