Set in 10 acres of our own land for you to explore and easy access to Snowdonia public foothpaths, it’s perfect for those looking to spend some time in nature. Large living space with bi-fold doors onto the patio area where you can spend your evening stargazing in the luxurious wooden hot-tub or enjoy a glass of wine in front of the log burner. Ideally located for hiking up mountains, the longest zip line in Europe, Forrest coaster, quarry carting or mountain bike trails. Betws-y-coed is a 10 mins drive or 2 train stops away for shops & dining. Dogs welcome.

Traditional 19th Century Slate Miners Cottage

A original slate miners cottage built in the late 1800's . Located in Tanygrisau , just outside of the historic Slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog . It is well positioned just a short walk away from all the shops and amenities the town has to offer with the local pub also just up the road . The narrow gauge steam railway runs past the back garden and can also be seen from the rear bedroom. Close by we have Llechwedd slate caverns, zipwires and mountain biking.

This is our family holiday cottage in Blaenau-Ffestiniog. Walking distance to Zip World, Bounce below and Llechwedd slate caverns. Blaenau-Ffestiniog is ideally located to explore Snowdonia National park. Approx. 10 miles to great beaches (Porthmadog, Harlech) and other picturesque towns such as Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert. Catch the historic Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog or explore Portmeirion village.
