Only 25 mins from historic York. Perfect to explore York, North York Moors, East Riding and the Coast. Great walking country!

Nestled in 30 wooden acres of a secluded nature reserve, your lodge is the perfect hideaway. The open-plan sitting room flows comfortably through the dining area to the kitchen. A cast iron gas stove adds to the ambiance on those chilly evenings. Alternatively, throw open the French doors to make the most of the beautiful setting and enjoy al fresco dining on the verandah, overlooking the lake—a king-size bed, with an ensuite bathroom/WC, and a large bath and shower overhead. Fishing allowed.

A Scandinavian style bungalow, set in a private 40 acre nature reserve, for 6-12 guests. The Woodland Garden, has a fantastic selection of mature Rhododendrons and azaleas extends to 1.5 acres, a fire pit with seating for 8-10, Two Decked areas, woodland pathway to access Allerthorpe Common. York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Family/ friends, Male or Female groups welcome. A max of 2 dogs which are chargable.

Ideal for couples, families and friends, Little Lodge offers a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen, comfy sofas, a super king-size bed plus three singles, and everything you need to relax after a day of exploring.

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

The historic market town of Beverley is just 20 minutes by car, York is 30 minutes, this cosy annexe for 2 comes equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing country break. Plenty of good walks in the area and free fresh eggs from our hens. We can also be flexible on check in and check out times if needed

Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.
