Nestled on 54 acres of farmland, surrounded by cattle grazing the paddocks, with mountain views in the distance, we welcome you to come & experience the country lifestyle!

The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Pottery Lodge - Relaxing 1BR Self-Contained Apt.

Take it easy at this stylish and tranquil getaway, located in the historic village of Stanley, a lovely 7-minute drive from Beechworth. Adjacent to the main residence, Pottery Lodge is the former pottery workshop of a renowned ceramicist. Lovingly re-styled into boutique accommodation, it features a large open plan living space, with two comfortable sitting areas, a wood fire, kitchen and pool table, as well as a seperate bedroom with queen bed. Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.
