The Bayside Farm

During travel I look for character and authenticity, and I hope to offer these to you during your stay while you visit our beaches, redwoods or the University. Private studio has a separate entry next to our 1904 farmhouse-queen bed, WIFI, private bathroom, kitchenette with electric tea kettle, airfryer/griddle and microwave. I provide organic/local coffee, cream, tea, sugar and will have some other goodies for you which will not be restocked during your stay. Please non smokers only and no pets

Tiny Launch Pad

This tiny house awaits you at the end of a gravel road, on a half acre of open yard and sky. Watch birds fly over and listen to the ocean. You are 1.8 mi. by bike to the beach, 2 blocks to the banks of the Mad River, and Hammond Trail. Access your cozy sleeping loft up the ladder, cook in your well equipt kitchen, enjoy an on-demand shower inside, and a charming privy with a flush toilet outside. The Country-Chic Blue Room is your totally private, quiet, cozy country guest suite with a spa-like luxury bathroom, located just 2 miles from town, across the street from the Mad River and 5 miles from the beach. Cruising up the long drive-way, you'll be welcomed by our mustang, and adorable donkeys . We welcome guests of all backgrounds and love making new friends. Having lived on the North Coast for over 40 years we're a great resource to make your stay memorable.

The Retreat

Nestled within the Jacoby Creek Valley, near The Humboldt Bay with easy access to Arcata and Eureka; immersed in leafy surrounds, offering a variety of hiking and walking trails, perfect for nature lovers, The Retreat ensures peace and quiet, while being only a short drive to all amenities. This spacious, warm and cozy studio apartment provides comfortable sleeping for 4, with 2 queen size beds. One bed is a comfy pillow top, the other is comfy memory foam type mattress sofa bed.

Paradise Falls Guest Suite

Relax and rejuvenate in our cozy guest suite. The room boasts a large living area, comfortable furnishings and a calming atmosphere. With all the luxuries and privacy of a hotel suite, we also boast beautiful gardens and a waterfall cascading down into a koi pond to enjoy. The suite has a private entrance and is situated at the end of the a quiet street in a upscale, safe neighborhood. We are 5 minutes to shopping and dinning and another five to the fabulous Moonstone Beach.

Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. 2nd set of sheets & pillows will only be included for 3+ guests! 4/20 friendly :) Property is shared with our main cabin. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.

Redwood Getaway - Modern, Spacious, and Private

Welcome! You’ll be staying in the ground floor of our split level home that is nestled amongst the redwoods but still close to the coast. The apartment is accessed via a separate private entrance on the ground floor.. This private space is ideal as a home base for exploring the amazing Redwood Coast. The spacious yard with play equipment makes it a fun stay for families and the well appointed interior is comfortable for visiting professionals.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.

Modern Redwood Retreat with a huge yard

Whether you are adventuring or passing through, this charming retreat has everything you need. It's located down a quiet country road that feels far away from town but is only 4 easy miles from Arcata, home of Cal Poly Humboldt, and 6 miles to Eureka. The clean and freshly decorated space has a queen-sized bed and a full-size futon-style couch. Both beds have been reported as VERY comfortable!

Little Buttermilk Cottage

Our renovated, quaint, studio cottage is a 10 minute walk to the Redwoods, 5 minutes to shops and a short drive to the beach. Little Buttermilk Cottage is nestled in a private garden setting in the quiet neighborhood of Sunny Brae. We do have other properties so if our cottage is booked during your ideal stay please feel free to inquire!
