Its off the beaten track a little, and if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other in the surrounding countryside. It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep.
