The bothy- peaceful country life near the sea

The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

A stay at this flat gives you easy access on foot to Kirkwall's town centre and all it has to offer. If you are taking a car to explore further afield, there is also on site free parking. Three bedrooms with an additional sofa bed and fold down bed allow us to comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. A large patio area provides space for outdoor dining and barbeques with a hot-tub to relax and unwind. Based on a working farm your neighbours will include our highland cattle and sheep.
