Built in 2018, our cozy cottage sleeps a maximum of 6 guests who will have full access to 2 bedrooms plus 1 loft! There’s a second level balcony, where you catch the morning sunrise and the front deck offers views from the ocean with amazing sunsets. Our cottage is a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, minutes away from la plage St. Pierre, a short distance to Le Portage Golf course and the National Park. ** our cottage is approx. 50 feet from a gradual 8-10 feet drop to the rock beach below

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 4-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. We upgraded our wifi to high speed fiber in 2026. Welcome to our 9 acre private lot sitting up on a hill over looking the beautiful Mira River. Enjoy the open concept cottage with spacious bedrooms and large kitchen. A short walk down the hill takes you to your own private beach on the Mira River to swim in the day and enjoy a bon fire at night. The spacious deck has a large hot tub and chairs to enjoy the views. The property also has its own 1km hiking trail that circles the property.
