Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

The Barn has been welcoming guests since 2012 and has recently been renovated to modernise and brighten the home. It was previously listed on AirBnB as Garden Lodge. Set on a very quiet lane in the gorgeous Suffolk village of Charsfield, The Barn is perfectly located for easy access to the wonderful Suffolk Coast. Stunning Suffolk Barn Conversion

Slow down and relax at this romantic rural retreat on the edge of Constable country. The Hay Barn, with its wonky beams and wood-burning stove, sits peacefully among acres of rolling farmland, moments from some of Suffolk’s most iconic sights, including Sutton Hoo - featured on Netflix’s The Dig. Wake to the splashing of wild mallards on the pond, pick juicy plums from the orchard, and set off on an adventure across the fields. Perfect for walking, cycling, exploring or simply hiding away.

The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Mustard Pot Cottage is a charming 18th century barn conversion. The property comprises luxurious accommodation with a pretty enclosed south-facing garden which overlooks a pond. There is a light airy bedroom with a king size bed and a chest of drawers, a bathroom with a spacious walk in shower and a very well equipped kitchen with a dining and seating area. The cottage has a stylish Everhot mini stove as the main feature of the sitting room. A beautiful space with wooden floors throughout.

The Barn sleeps up to 7 people, with views over the countryside, a large garden and outdoor bluetooth enabled hot tub, new in August 2021. It's a 'get away from it all' place. Whether you want to relax by the woodburner whilst soaking up the views, take long walks whilst enjoying the wildlife, cycle,canoe or fish, Wortwell is the perfect location being on the South Norfolk/Suffolk border. We provide fresh ground coffee from Strangers coffee house.

The Coach House

A beautifully renovated self-contained coach house set in the grounds of Pound Hall, enjoying stunning views of Melford Hall and the beautiful countryside. Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms, with a sofa bed, ideal for a child in the sitting area. The Coach House offers luxury accommodation with a private garden opening onto fields and is a 5 minute walk from Holy Trinity Church and the village. The owners live on site and are on hand to accommodate requests.
