The nearby (10 minutes drive) seaside town of Ballybunion has lots to offer, bars, restaurants, two golf courses, swimming pool and health centre. Central location for day trips to Killarney, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Cliffs of Moher via Tarbert ferry. Shannon Airport is one hour, thirty minutes away and Kerry Airport is one hour away.

There is no cooker in the pod but there is a Gas Plancha (Hot Plate) and a single gas ring situated in an outside cooking station next to the pod. WIFI

The field on one side has an ancient 'standing stone' and looks towards the village of Lispole . On the other side is Dingle, 4km away with its sheltered harbour. In the fields on the headland opposite and nearby there are ring forts and standing stones.
