Relax with the family or enjoy a couples getaway at this beautiful peaceful hideaway. Watch and listen to the river flow by. Fish out your front door. Eagles, ducks, deer, and an occasional moose will visit you. Kayak the river. Swim in nearby mountain lakes. Hike to a waterfall. Relax by one of the gas fireplaces indoors or on the patio and read a book, play a game, watch a movie. There’s no cell service but we do have Wi-Fi at the cabin. Please note; the closest grocery store is 31 miles away.

These three acres of forested property allow you to enjoy the quiet seclusion of nature, but remain only a thirteen minute drive to Nelson, and eight minutes from the Whitewater turn off (closer than Nelson). Return from a long day of skiing to warm up in the wood fired cast iron tub by the river or enjoy the six person electric hot tub with lounger and watch the Salmo river flow by. Or dry off by the woodstove and watch a movie on the 4K 100” projector

The "Outhouse"

We are a quarter of a mile from downtown Bonners Ferry, meaning walking distance to Breakfast, lunch, dinner, casino, beautiful views and friendly people! We are 45 minutes to the village of Schweitzer and a great stopping point before Canada. Super clean and love to share our hand crafted tiny guest home! The Outhouse is located on property. We as hosts are next door in the main house, so if you need anything we are avilable! We happily accommodate late listings and last minute bookings.

Our serene and peaceful cabin is situated 15 min from town center where you will find supermarkets, the rec center, a movie theater, shops, and restaurants. Creston also offers tours of the Kokanee Brewery and local vineyards during the summer. We are 20 min from Kootenay lake. The West Creston Wetlands Conservation Area is at the bottom of the hill. This 2BD log cabin is located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho at the North Haven campground, which features 21 RV sites, 5 cabins and The Outpost camp store. North Haven is located in the Northland Woods subdivision, which is mostly undeveloped and you truly feel like you are in the woods! Our guest suite has a modern rustic feel & can accommodate 3 guests. There are plates, bowls, cutlery, etc and a rustic wine barrel dining table. The cupboards are stocked with local tea and coffee, with cream in the fridge and snack. A second cabin with a twin bed is available as well and the two cabins have a shared bathroom in a separate building with a bathtub and a outdoor shower! 10 minutes to Kokanee Provincial Park with hiking and mountain bike trails galore! Relax in the hammock, have a campfire and cook up dinner with the outdoor bbq/kitchen area!
