Get away from the city with an authentic farm-stay experience! This working 200acre Black Angus cow farm is located 15 minutes from historic Appomattox and 30 minutes from Lynchburg and Liberty Univ in a quiet, peaceful rural setting. The entire house is yours while the farm owner lives in the separate basement apartment. Observe farm activities, ie, moving the grass-fed cows from pasture to pasture, see some long horns nearby, or just kick back and relax on one of the property's ponds or creek!

The Loft has one bedroom with one queen size bed for 2 guests. If your 2nd guest needs an extra bed, you can add a king size blowup mattress OR a twin mattresses for $25 per night. Please message me your extra bed preference and pay me directly with cash or card before you checkout. If your Airbnb reservation includes an extra guest fee, there is no additional charge. Have you ever been driving down the highway and passed a vintage travel trailer and wished you had the opportunity to enjoy these times of the past? This is the perfect opportunity! This is an iconic Argosy travel trailer from 1972 and is remotely located and immersed in nature with wonderful views and great sunrise experiences. The trailer is off-grid but does have solar power for lighting and phone charging. It has a very adequate heating system and a seasonal outdoor shower.

This is a quiet, serene spot where you will not be disturbed. We have a fire pit and tent camping right beside the creek. There is plenty of room for two tents and some hammocks. Our property is 13 acres (which you are welcome to explore) and behind our property is a field with cattle. We are only a 5 minute drive from the James River and area to launch kayaks/canoes. Great hiking is nearby and downtown Lynchburg is only 15 minutes away. Liberty University is 12 minutes away.
