Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is the converted pickers quarters when the property was a stone fruit orchard in the past. Have recently planted feijoa orchard. A small and cozy space with spacious verandahs to the north and west. Situated on a quiet and private 100 acres. Abundant bird and wildlife. The cabin is self-catering. Breakfast is not provided altho’ tea and coffee making facilities and basic condiments are provided. The cabin is not suitable for children.

Our Stanthorpe House is our home away from home. We specifically chose this house for the abundance of space, so that when we escape the city life we do feel free! There is plenty of room to relax. It’s your choice on what you choose to do. We are a short walk to town, Red Bridge and Quart Pot Creek. Visit the giant thermometer [yes that is a thermometer!]. We will send you some information on our favourite places to visit. Note that we do offer discounts on bookings of 2 nights or more.

Just a short 3 minute walk to the main street - you'll find coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, bottle shops, 3 supermarkets and local country stores. 50 wineries and breweries throughout the Granite Belt, all within 25 minutes. The Cottage is fully self contained with a queen bed, kitchen and bathroom, lounge room with comfy sofa lounge, TV and a reverse cycle air conditioner. Outside there is a sitting area with BBQ and stunning views of the stables and surrounding picturesque property areas.

Drive to the end of the lane, wend your way down the poplar lined driveway and find yourself at Lane’s End Cottage, your home away from home in Broadwater, less than ten minutes from the town of Stanthorpe. The cottage is situated on a 42 acre farm, close enough to town that you can pop in easily to enjoy cafes, festivals and a bit of shopping - but far enough away that you will feel you really have escaped to the country.

Highland Croft Cottage accommodation

The cottage offers you a fully serviced home away from home. The lounge boasts a wood heater with television and dvd player. There is also a BBQ outside with a basket breakfast included in the tariff, plus tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The master bedroom has french doors opening onto the verandah. Both rooms have cosy blankets, doonas and electric blankets. Highchair and cot available on request.
