The home is located 55 miles north of Columbus by Knox Lake. This home is close to ArielFoundation Park, Mohican State Park, Mid-Ohio Racing, Kenyon College, Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, and Apple Valley Golf Course. Good place for family and friends to kayak and fish. There is a Splash Pad in town for children. In Mount Vernon, 15minutes away there is Hiawatha Waterpark. There is a fee. Family Reunions are Welcome. Great place to get away, read a book, sit by a fire and relax.

You can enjoy our dock and go swimming or paddle boarding or just relax and fish. On the main floor is a card room perfect for family games, kitchen with walk out to 2nd story deck and 3 season room, living room with TV, and master bedroom with a private deck and fireplace. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms and fireplace.

The Lake House for Family & Friends

Enjoy the Buckeye Lake north shore. Public boat ramp less than 1/2 mile. Walk to boardwalk, enjoy winterfest, restaurants, Yacht Club, ice cream, Boat Yard for bike or kayak rental or enjoy a drink with live music. Fenced yard for small pet (no more that 30 lbs accepted with fee) or enjoy enclosed front entry way to watch the sunset. Roku TV & wi-fi available. Two bdrm, bath, laundry on main floor. Third bdrm upstairs gives a view of the lake. Drive fits 2 cars.

The open floor plan & wrap around outdoor deck lends itself for an awesome gathering place for family and friends. Sleeps 6-8 with three bedrooms offering queen beds and a bonus sofa sleeper in living area, 2 full bathrooms, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views of the golf course & seasonal views of the lake. There is plenty available to do! Enjoy Pleasant Hill lake, hiking, kayaking, skiing or an evening with indoor games, outdoor fire pit at The Round House.

Also, field fire pit, horse shoe pit and peddle boat use with permission and life jacket use.

So much room for activities! This Lakefront home has room for the entire family. TWO large bunkrooms, expansive lake views, swimming dock, 7-person hot tub, and direct lake access for AVPOA property owners will make memories to last a lifetime. HOT TUB NOTE: A new hot tub was added to this property in late-September 2025. Existing bookings may have seen an outdoor couch in its place initially when booking.
