Treehouse close to the Anglesey Coast

In the depths of North-west Anglesey and close to the and coastal paths sits a quirky Treehouse. Tucked away a mile off the main road the little nest sits around a tree which grows inside the space. It shares its home with the owners as it sits in a corner of their garden. With peacocks (very early hooting during Spring), owls, a woodpecker, cats and dogs, there is plenty of amusement. The stars shine brightly, the surroundings are wild and not manicured but it is a haven for wildlife and birds

Beudy’r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. Situated in the perfect costal location - just a short stroll down the high street and you can explore Cemaes bay’s two beaches, as well as Anglesey’s renowned coastal path boasting breathtaking cliffside views of the sea. This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.

We love to welcome all guests to our converted dairy Tylluan Wen (Barn Owl) which is a stone building attached to the main house. The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs. Tylluan Wen is located close to an area of outstanding natural beauty, with stunning scenery and easy access to the coast, attractions and transport routes. * Hot tub has extra charge.
