Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Anchorage Family Guesthouse

Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children.

Fire Lake Guest Suite

This space is a small, clean, beautiful studio, with private entrance, restroom, and kitchen right on Fire Lake. The suite offers a stunning lake view right from your window! The unit is attached to main house. However it is completely separate and on the other side of a garage. We are located just outside Anchorage on Fire Lake with lake access and year round activities including boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, ice skating, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.

We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. Guests enjoy fast Wi-Fi, convenient laundry access, & the chance to see local wildlife right outside the back door — moose (often with calves), ravens, Steller’s jays, squirrels, & on rare occasions, a bear.
