The local bus takes you the 10 minute ride into the bustling town of Belper with many individual shops, bars and restaurants.

The cottage was once a Pigeon loft and has been transformed and renovated into a simple characterful living space within the conservation area. Views from the cottage and outside private terrace are stunning. There are choices of walks from the door including 2 pubs cafe and shop within easy walking distance.

Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.
