Don’t forget to plan ahead for each season of the year because each season of the year has a unique atmosphere. The summer season is like being in the Caribbean of the northern hemisphere! Fall is a burst of color and you will enjoy being immersed in the feel of the crisp autumn air and cozy nights. Winter is perfect for ice fishing on Grand Lake as well as cross country skiing .

Little Cottage On The Hill

A piece of Northeast Michigan Paradise. This cottage is in a rural woods setting on a 200 acre Farm, with the Ocqueoc river running through it. Enjoy short walks thru the woods and even down the hill to the river valley. Celebrate the day watching the sunset. River access to fish and kayak. 6 miles to Ocqueoc Falls. 2 miles to Lake Huron. 5 close boat launches. Many lighthouses. Direct access to N. MI trail system for hiking/4 wheeling. Bon fire pit in back yard. No Smoking!

Our cabin has been in our family over 40 years, this is our first time hosting our beloved home. We hope you find it charming, comforting and a place to build beautiful memories. My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

2nd Retreat

This bright and quaint historical little house is one block from the downtown district. This 2nd retreat has a charming enclosed front porch for sitting, a quiet serene space to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine, to read a book or just to sit and relax. We are in walking distance to a great Ice cream shop , the local winery, a quaint coffee shop, Mango's for margarita's and end the evening with the local movie theater. Enjoy the small town dynamic.

Cozy A-Frame Cabin | Hot Tub, Indian River

Tucked in the woods of Indian River, Veaux Pines is a cozy A-Frame retreat designed for relaxing Up North getaways. Soak in the covered hot tub beneath the pines, unwind by the fireplace, and enjoy peaceful forest surroundings without the summer crowds. Perfect for couples or a small getaway with friends, the cabin sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably and is just minutes from Mullet and Burt Lake, trails, and Northern Michigan adventures.

Modern cabin on the Thunder bay river

This modern rustic Up North cabin that offers 120 feet on the Thunder bay river! Cabin is located on a private Rd. which gives you the true Up North feel but is only a 15 minute drive to Alpena! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming as well as hikes on the nearby state land! Property has it's own boat launch, fire pit and also 6 kayaks (4 adult and 2 kids) for you to use! Cabin also includes WiFi, smart TV, outdoor grill.

Little Bear Cabin on the Hill

The Little Bear Cabin on the Hill is nestled in the woods off of M-32. It is surrounded by Lakes, State Land, and Golf Courses. Great location for golfing, hunting, swimming, boating, fishing, ORV Trails, and a getaway from it all...Bring your ATVs, fishing poles, floaties, boats, kayaks, jetski, and the family. Oh and don't forget your pets they can come too! Great for the Summer & Fall seasons!!

My place is less than a block from Restaurants, an outdoor Splash Park, and beaches along Lake Huron. Within walking distance is a park with basketball and tennis courts, a bandshell for outdoor concerts in summer and more beach access. If you're looking for a night in, the backyard is private with a firepit and hot tub, or enjoy the game/activity room downstairs.

The Depot

This unique rental is situated right next to the railway, conveniently located within walking distance of multiple amenities and not too far from downtown Alpena. The train passes through almost daily, giving a fun, industrial vibe to the property!
