Mountainview Lodge Caboose/Tiny Home

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. We also offer kayak to rent to explore the river. The top loft of the Caboose is only accessed by a ladder.

The location is at the mouth of the Chippewa River and Lake Superior. The property has one house on 60 acres with 2 km of shoreline on the lake and the river and 3 km trails inside the property. There are no neighbors. The house is 1,800 sq ft. It has a wooden interior, patio towards river, a screened porch towards lake with three hammock chairs, a large and protected fire-pit, and a separate Finnish sauna by the river.
