It sits on an acre lot surrounded by ohia trees, wild orchids & hapu'u ferns. This property is located in a residential neighborhood for you to conveniently explore the East side including several black sand beaches, hikes to tide pools & waterfalls near Hilo & Volcanoes National Park. Birds songs can be heard in the day & coqui frog chirps at night.

This home is obviously unique and has even been featured on HGTV's Off Beat American & The Travel Channel, but it is the land itself that we fell in love with. This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Watch whales in season (November-April), and walk to a black sand beach.

The cabin is the only dwelling on the property and no one else lives or works on the 2 acres.

The Palm Retreat

Journey to The Palm Retreat for a relaxing stay! Our home was renovated in 2017 by my husband Ekolu, myself and our 3 year old (at the time) son Kainalu. It is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house that offers a large backyard for you to pop a chair up and relax with the grass beneath your feet and the wind blowing in your hair.
