The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Perfectly situated to take full advantage of the stunning view, New Quay is on only a short 15 minute walk away on the coastal path. Each tent has a wood fired hot tub, a wood burning stove and its own private toilet and shower. The King size bed sleeps 2 adults and there are bunk beds that are ideal for kids.

Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.
